Our company is pleased to present to you our latest version in our E.R.I.C. product line, the new E.R.I.C. version 30.
You will note that in the accompanying README file with the product, there are a whole host of new FEATURES as well as numerous BUG FIXES. Our team has tirelessly revamped and implemented these features following our major shuffling of management and key partners early last year.
Some of the key new FEATURES/BUG FIXES are:
a) SALSA and PERFORMANCE modules are now stablised and installed into the product. As the product gains more experience with such modules, we are hoping to install new DANCE-related features.
b) we have increased the database capacity for FRIENDS as we anticipate the publicity that will be generated as a result of our above mentioned modules.
c) CAREER module has been replaced with a new improved one and we hope to be able to improve on this module in the future.
d) the E.R.I.C. line is now more user-friendly and has a wide capacity for adding other FRIEND users. Its multi-tasking capacity has improved tremendously and with the addon provided by MSN MESSENGER, we are sure it can now meet your expectations.

1) DIVING functionality.
2) DANCE related i.e. Cha Cha, Rhumba, Samba, Waltz, Ballroom basically
3) PHOTOGRAPHY. We hope to increase the capabilities of this functionality to hopefully add on the PROFESSIONAL tag soon.
4) We hope to finally be able to reinstall the GIRLFRIEND module again which we have seemingly periodically remove and install due to unforseen circumstances. We do apologise if ever the reason for removal was due to fault on our part and We will endeavor to ensure that such misgivings will not occur again. Right now we are still in the design and requirements gathering phase but nevertheless, our company is always optimistic and we await with anticipation on this regard.

This year has been a rather exciting year for me.

7) My place got sold

Wow.. all in all it has been a fruitful year :)
I can't wait to see wats in store for me in the next year... good luck to me !

We are moving !

Guess wat , we have sold our existing house and have bought a new terrace 3 storey house @ 7 Seraya Road! :) Fast yea? My parents literally saw the house and decided within 2-3 days to buy it. Details of the new house soon. But as of now its opp TKSS / TKPS and nearer to the President's home *snicker*. Bro and I will probably take each of the 3rd floor rooms and we will get to decorate! I wonder what i should do to my room.. hmm.. suggestions?

some pple have been asking me why we move. well:
1) Currently our semi-d neighbour has already renovated his place and thus our semi-d no longer looked the same
2) We already have a built up 5-story condo behind us (my room constantly faces a caucasian family who's hubby walks ard showing his tummy (sometimes)
3) Our neighbour to the other side sold his bungalow and a spanking new 5-story condo will be built up there as well!

Thus given the reasons, if we don't sell now, we might never sell again.

Birthday Celebration @Dempsey

My salsa gang sprang a little surprise on me when we were having a wine tasting session @ Wine Network @ Dempsey on sat :) Its really nice to have so many frens sing you a birthday song and generally have fun, drink some wine and take pictures. (Will post up the link soon).

Moving on

oh yea...
we sold our house. :)
So now we looking for a new one. If any of you r or know housing agents, maybe you can ask them to recommend us. We r looking for a house with some land (for my dad + his plants) and preferably within the east region. Budget < 1.4mil. If you have lobang, pls gimme a buzz yea?

Yesterday we went to naller road to look @ a corner terrace. Quite cool house .. When we entered, this 5 yr old lab bounded twds us. My mom was a bit squealy as she doesnt like big dogs. But the dog did something funny. It ran twds us, barked, then turn 1 round and laid on his bac to let us rub his tummy.

AHahha.. dats why labs dun make good guard dogs :p

Sunday and new blades

So my salsa gang decided to go blading and asked me along. Havent bladed for a long time so i went to buy spanking new blades (ard sgd$249) and went to blade. Pretty cool now that new blades have lotsa cushioning which means i can wear thinner socks which means my socks wun stink so bad afterwards. There are plenty of new road along the ECP paths and we bladed past the new cable skiing park. Its kinda cool actually, but a bit like those rides u get @ amusement parks. I heard it was sgd$90 for 1 whole day rental which is rather.... steeeep for my tastes :)

Anyway along the way back I was giving a fren a piggy back via my own locomotive power. We approached a hump and she fell. She din break away though so i fell too. She more sim tia her hp chain than abt me *sobsob*....

Why... ?

Heard my ex-colleague is asking abt gg bac to work for my prev co. Hahahahah .. one thing abt my prev co is that if i was married with kids? dats a perfect place to park my ass. Timings r goot, pay is goot, benefits goot. Wats not to like?
However since i'm a swinging single, then the place pace is rather lax. Too many logistical issues. I will become sooooooooooooooo blunt (skillset that is).

Over the weekend

Two left Feet had a nice celebratory party @ Sean's place @ orchard. Sweet bachelor pad though the rent is definitely out of my league hehe. Still we had fun, watching (or attempting to) the dvds from msia and even manage to watch Wendy & Jean's old congress videos. My god you wun believe how gupson was then. Ahahaha...
Then we had a round of TABOO.
First time playing it but the men were outnumbered and constantly distracted (i would use the word BOOBIEFIED)

KTV ! with some new salsa frens. Quite good singers actually.. esp a certain lady (who is a gan tang wan) ahah.. But there were like 6 guys and 2 gals only.. so the YANG is strong in the room.
Went to have dinner @ Bie Fu but they were rushing to go home so were kinda egging us on to finish food and vamboosh. Not really that pleasant.

And viola, the wkend is over. Too fast...too soon...

I always enjoyed adam sandler's movies cos his type of humor i can synch with. His movies arent all too dense either and whilst its not yr literary genius, its not too bad and rather wholesome most of the time.

Anyway , movie was cool and i had a nice time with a fren that i havent really talked to for soem time now :)

Bravo Johnny Depp

A uniquely deep movie, packing lotsa sattires and witty humor, packaged with a facade of raunchy imagery, it tells the story of the main character, played by Johnny Depp (once again, another BRAVO performance) and his life , his briliance, his frivalious ways and the people around him. Coupled(pun not intended) with different film techniques, this is one show that you should watch.

Well worth the $ ! :) great company, fabulous movie.

Tues Mood

well its bac to work,

i have a freelance work i desperately wanna shake off me. its been dragging since last yr and well, no $$ for me, no inspiration to finish. Hahha.. maybe tontie when WoW servers r having maintenance I can finish up and at least get it over with.

Mood today was kinda sians... cos of stuff tat happened... listening to corrinne may's mellow n moody songs doesnt help much but i feel i'm kinda in a place that such songs suit the mood. I don't need cheering up nor do i feel i wanna cheer up...

Maybe its time i woke up from my dream ... maybe its time for me to realise wats suitable and wats not....

Malaysian Salsa Festival 06

yay i'm back. Our team's performance was a blast there and we were even invited to perform @ the next Sydney Congress! That was a real surprise to us as we din expect anything but to perform to our best @ the festival. Judging from the response from friends and the crowd alike, we did real goot :P

Hotel wise we got stiffed again. La congress we settled for 2nd best, cherating as well. SIGH. hotels dun like us. Then the food was.... so-so.. The hot humid weather and the dancing conditions din help much. At the end of the nights we were mostly sweating like pigs. We had to alternate between the dance floor and the nearby aircon rooms to get breather..

The workshops was interesting. I learnt SON , which is like where salsa morphed from. Its like a very animalistic form of dance and reminds me of the ANimal Planet when i saw the instructors perform. Nevertheless its quite fun and interesting as its more a form of game on the dance floor and a way where the 2 dancers communicate with each other (and try to get into the pants of the woman... so to speak). *wink*

Dave Paris WOWed the crowd wif his lifts and tricks and the workshop he conducted was professional and well done.

Personally my biggest achievement would be learning how to do cuban moves properly :) That and also we did a great performance of cos :P There were also revelations on my life and my current situations (more on this later if i have the time) and also making of new friends. The last nite we stayed up till breakfast time @ 7am then snooze a little b4 we had to take the bus bac @ noon.

Overall there were definite ups and downs @ the festival and while we din really take much time to enjoy the beach and the sun and the sand, it was pretty good experience nevertheless...

wats next? i duno.... for now its back to normality....

7-11 mania

Is it me or has 7-11s been popping out everywhere like a teenager in puberty hell?
I mean wat gives? I heard that franchise is a lucrative business but this is getting out of hand. It doesn't make good business sense when 2 7-11s open just opposite each other across the road!
Don't tell me these business owners are doing MBAS (mass bombardment advertising system)..

I had a good night last nite.
For couple of wks now ever since my bro announced that he's getting married, there have been certain issues that needed to be worked out. My family's rather "loud" when it comes to expressing opinions so all in all it has been a rather trying time for my parents and my bro and their vocals. I'm more passive with regards to this because I do feel that its his life after all. If he decides to get married, he's in another realm, the next step in life. Therefore he needs to realise that the decisions he make affect 2 people now and 2 different families rather than their own.
THe marriage portion is settled. There comes a new issue. About job and settling down in a different country. This now sparked another heated debate. Finally last nite (being free-er than usual because no tango), i talked to them both on this regard.

Well i am quite happy i manage to let them both see each other's point and somewat mediate and pacify both parties. At the end of the whole conversation, everyone's laughing at past events and the general mood was lightened. I'm happy with myself for being able to do that especially for people that i care about. I don't really know how i go about doing the things i do, but I do feel that i'm somewat more people oriented. Which is kinda ironic given my job scope involves computers computers computers...


go figure..
